I was watching Magic Kaito 1412 series yesterday and I noticed how the designs have changed over years I'm pretty impressed with them what do you guys think?

They sure have changed over the years. TMS has been doing this series for 18 years now and newcomer A-1 Picture is doing a fabulous job with it's brother MK1412. However I got to say that in MK1412 their noses look so much like ski slopes. Laughing

Yet again, Aoyama's art style is a bit on the weird side, especially the noses at certain angles. Although despite them being new to the series, I say A-1 Pictures is doing a better job than what a lot of the TMS Conan episodes look like in several episodes today.

I do not really notice much difference, but as for Aoyama's styling and such, the only thing I have notice was that pretty much all of his adolescent male leads look the same. For example, in the short story OVA collection, there is at least one character that looks similar to Jimmy Kudo, who also has the same appearance as Kaito Kuroba, except for hair style.

Of course, I think that the difference probably comes from the different method the series has been adapted and Gosho and Co. seem to be honing their skills as well.
